Hotbuzz

Hi folks! I know Adeline sent out an email to those who had come, but would like to thank all who showed up at the event. Great attendance (~85 including non-registrants) and signups (135). This was despite the holiday seasons, which meant that a significant number of people was away for Xmas, including some great folks whom we really wanted Andreas to meet. :(

For those who could not make it, you missed a great show by Andreas, but the video is going to be up on Youtube soon! The photos are up at Flickr already, while we have a nice wiki page for folks to share their questions and points of discussion. We will make sure Andreas answers those questions when he is back next. :P Btw, we know Andreas is going to get to read this blog posting cause of his Google Alerts. Haha.

I will be having a blog posting up soon on what I learned from both listening to and preparing for his talk, so look out for that soon.

If you have any additional comments on the event, feel free to leave us an comment on this posting!

P.S. : Once again, would like to thank all of you guys who offered me extremely constructive feedback on how I can be a better moderator. Thanks folks! I will take both the compliments and suggestions into consideration! =)

hi Rex! Thanks for your kind comments and contribution to our wiki! You seem to be very well versed in the state of technology and SG entrepreneurship, would love to chat more about how we can advance our society along these lines.

Pamela will definitely be joining us for our future events. =) So look out for it soon!

What can I say?! It was an excellent seminar. Andreas is definitely a thought-leader, and we have alot to catch up with.

The message I took away is the “future-web”. By observing the trajectory of blogging and blog consumption, you can start determining trends.

Andreas also touched on the amazing depth of consumer behavioural mining done at Amazon. This is something that no bank, or SG enterprise (with maybe the exception of the IRAS, MAS, CID, CPF ) has really done.

    Cheers!
