Hi folks, just a shout out to everyone who had participated in the recent iX conference, either as part of the New Media Contingent, the Chillout 2.0 session, or the New Media Forum!
It has been a great 2 days and it has certainly been tonnes of fun. Personally, it was great to have the chance to moderate the panel, as well as
As a team, we had tonne of fun researching, learning, and talking to every single one of you, the speakers, as well as the organizers.
A big shout out to: Pek, Bill, Saro, Theni from SITF, Steven Miller, Mei Kee from SMU, and to all the New Media Contingent that creating this together with us!
Here are several quotes and links that summed up the thoughts i had of the event…
“To embrace the sizzling new world of social media, corporates should weave in a social media strategy in tandem with their more traditional mainstream marketing approaches. Understanding the wonderful world of social media as outlined by Jeremiah would be a first step.” - Walter Lim
“that’s it for now folks! congratulations to the organisers and TDM for a highly successful conference and the great chill-out session! networking at the party was awesome. the group was capped at the right number, which made it possible for everyone to have a chance to speak with everyone else — a rarity at events like this. there was no formation of centric cliques, which probably would have resulted had the group been larger (like the last blogout event).” - Sparklette
“Singapore is a leader in IT infrastructure and is a major provider, hub and regional leader for telecommunications and communications. It’s interesting to see the dynamic shift of how new media is changing the perspectives of the industry. A group of young entrepreneurs and thought leaders The Digital Movement appears to be spearheading the social media movement” - Jeremiah Owyang

I had the priviledge to witness the humble beginnings of TDM last year. Yet today, you guys have made waves in the entrepreneurial scene. Looks like TDM is here to stay (and conquer!) Be watching and supporting you guys! ^^
